First TV dinner...

The boys had their first real TV dinner the other day. It was interesting to say the least. They liked the trays and by the time they were done with the meal they were covered with the chocolate. I can say this may have been the first and the last TV dinner they ever will have.

Exploring outside

Finally the days are getting nice and the boys have so much to see and do outside.
Here you can see Braxton loves to look at the plains flying over head and Beau has found his special snacks in the bag. They love to be outside and it is so fun watching them explore their new outside world!

Beau and the Bug

Here is the Story I got from Shelby along with these pics a couple weeks ago.. too cute!
"So.... Beau tortured a ladybug for like 20 minutes yesterday while Braxton was taking his 2nd nap..... it was probably the funniest thing.... this poor ladybug was found crawling all over there ball pit and he pushed it with his fingers to make it move if it would stop.... if it fell off the edge onto the carpet he would pick it back and put it at the top of the cushion..... it got on him and he threw it down on the cushion, definitely didn't like that.... he was just freakin out over it with the biggest smile on his face.... finally it disappeared thank god cause i felt soo bad for the little sucker.... i then realized later he was bringing dead ones onto the cushion and he was smooshing them with his pointer finger cause they wouldn't move for him...... eeew! lol. it was pretty funny though."

so ...it is official,Spring is here because those darn Asian beetles are back! yuck!

4 wheel- Wagon Rides

This weekend the boys went on a fun wagon ride. We have a trailor that the wagon fits in and then we buckle the boys in and off we go. You can see when we stop moving Beau gets very sad and the fresh air really tired Braxton out.

Vince gets his drivers license

Today it is official... Vince got his license! This is so weird! Of course I am so nervous and it freaks me out he is even this old! Here he is pulling into the yard and as you can see he is thrilled I am taking this picture!

Look what a year does...

Here are the boys last Easter and look at them now... one blink and they are big boys!

Easter bunny... over rated!?

As predicted the boys were not into the bunny... I often wonder why do I put myself through that hell? Will they ever even know they saw the bunny... no! They got their basket this morning and really could care less. Oh well Vince and Ashlee like theirs still!!! We enjoyed having Ashlee home for a long weekend again and now....back to reality.

Two little old men...

Every morning Braxton and Beau love for me to put their highchairs next to the big kitchen window and open it just a crack to listen to the birds sing... in one of the pics you can see Beau pointing to a bird in the tree. They sure look like a couple of little old men in a nursing home...wheeled right up to the window to look outside.

Watching the Barge go by...

Today the boys were watching the barge go by on the Great Mississippi... they can also now recognize the sound of the trains passing by below too and they point and run to the windows... they are all boys as when they look out the kitchen windows they make the "rummmm rummm" sound and point to daddy's big truck.
So I guess we can say we love... Boats-Trains and Trucks around here!

Braxton and Beau go to daycare...

The boys went into the daycare today and had some fun! They ate lunch with their buddy Lane and as you can see by the look on their faces they did not care for chili for lunch! YUCK!!!

Sour Pickles.. and Banana

Braxton loves his pickles.. he will eat them all day long if you let him... and here he is one hand banana and one hand pickle.. yum yum!

Flash Back ...

The boys are 17 months on the 30th and here is a flashback to this time last year.... at 5 months old.. they have changes so much!

Spring clothes but where is the spring?

The boys have new spring gear but man we wish we could get outside in them! We have been looking for the sun but it never comes out :(

Happy 16th Birthday Vince!

March 24th 1993 Vincent Timothy was born... he taught me what love really really was all about. As I type this it makes me cry because of how much I truly love him.

I felt it…
You were growing inside me and you kicked me hard… I felt it
You turned one year old your cake was sticky on your cheeks and … I felt it
You were a toddler and you bumped your head… a goose egg and … I felt it
You were four and you went to nursery school, you made a soft bunny and ... I felt it
You had your first day of kindergarten and you had a heavy backpack and... I felt it
You said Mommy “my first tooth is loose”… I felt it
You held my hand crossing the street….I felt it
You got your first skateboard and you thought you were so cool… I felt it
You were so sick with the flu and burning up on your forehead so. .I felt it
You got your permit and you drove me almost off the road and… I felt it
You’re an awesome, amazing son .You make me so proud, not a day has gone by that I have not… felt it
You are turning 16 today, I love you so much it hurts Vince … It hurts my heart so much I really felt it.

It is official... we open on Monday

After so much work,shopping,ordering,planning,hauling and lack of sleep we did it! On Thursday we received our license to operate at the new center.
Monday morning hundreds of little feet will dance upon the floors and fill the rooms with laughter. One little boy Brody was visiting while is daddy was volunteering his time and Brody said "Mrs. Anna this is the best place in the whole wide world"! That little boy had no idea how much that meant to me!
Well... here's to 20 more plus years of Anna's Bananas in good old Farmington!
