We had fun our first weekend up north. Now it is only Tuesday and I can't wait til Friday! This weekend we get all four of our kids up there so we are very excited.
This past weekend Beau learned how to get out of his crib and Braxton learned how to tie his shoes. Kidden on the shoe thing.
Well after dreaming of having a cabin for years we finally have two. This week we closed on our new Heaven on earth... two darling cabins up north.
Vince is already fixing up the fish cleaning house and ready to take the boat out to catch us dinner.
We look forward to 50 years of family and friends gathering here to love life and make great life long memories. Like they say... Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today.”
As the temps were very warm tonight we brought the boys outside to swim in their new life jacket outfits. What a hoot!!!! They look so funny and they make the boys look so chubby. The boys had way more fun taking turns getting drinks from the hose and watching the boats go by then then did swimming in the pool.
Today we took the boys to the Washington County fair. They really liked the farm animals and they got their very first pony rides!!! They loved their very first ride on the Ferris wheel too! The boys also got to play a game "pick a duck" with a carnie with no teeth... and they both won the big prize! Mini donuts, pizza ,pickles and big corn dogs were all big hits!
This past Tuesday Ashlee and I took off for our girls get away to New York! It was just the two of us and we had a great time! We shopped our brains out, went to a show on Broadway, bought purses in China Town, ate yummy lunch in Little Italy, went nuts in the "Juicy Store", had a stroll through Central Park, had a few drinks by the Statue of Liberty (OOPS!) We ate tons of fun crazy food(like the big hot dog in one of the pics of Ash).
One of our highlights was meeting up with Joe and Tamara for dinner and more shopping!! Our plane was delayed by 4 long hours coming home so we made the best of it and got amazing facials and massages... who said a delay is all bad?! Not us!
Well Ash.. thanks for the amazing time and memories.. I love you... MOM xxoo!
